Click the subscribe link at the bottom of this email and when you get there
just un-subscribed. Remember to log back on when you get home...although
doing this you will miss out on all the reading material when you get home!!
I went away for 5 days and came back to 396 messages on a 22.6k dial up.
Just go online and then go about you business for an hour or so!

Cecil, if you don't receive a letter from the wonderful PST people in
Oshawa...don't ask!! Don't go parting with your hard earned reserves
unless
they demand it. It's hit and miss. TC hands them over a CofR transfer
list
at the end of each month and sometimes they send out the "please prove
where
you paid PST and if not submit 8%" letter and sometimes they don't.

I've received the letter almost immediately, some over a year later and
some
never at all. Bought Leah a CH701 in November 2003 and Daryl a J3C-65 in
April 2004 and have not received a letter for either one. On the other
hand
I buy airplanes in the business name and the idiots send me a letter
almost
immediately...when I have a PST Exempt # and am not required to pay PST
on
resale stuff. Just a typical Government operation!

If you don't get it, don't ask any questions that might have you giving
up
a
freebee. If you do get the letter ....you have so many days to prove
where
you paid or to submit the 8% of purchase price. No penalties in Ontario
(unlike what I hear they do in the USA) You did get two bills right? One
for
what you paid and one a lower (believable) amount for tax purposes.

Cheers,
Wayne

Does any one know where you go to pay the taxes on a resale plane?
I bought this in July and figured they would send me a tax bill but
haven't received anything.
Don't want to get dinged for late payment.
thanks
Cecil
