Plasma Ignition

I wonder if anybody has checked the polarity of the magnets on the
direct direct crank sensor for the Plasma 2 ignition. The instructions
are quite clear that you should use the north pole of a magnet to test
the system, but mine appears to work with the south pole, and the
magnets in the ring gear also have the south pole facing the HE sensors.
