Greetings to all,

Been lurking out here in the bushes this past while and getting quite
the education reading the posts. Now that I've have been assigned Fin #
779R its time to come in from the cold and say hi.

Name is Brian Breathnach and my patch of the woods is just outside
Victoria, here in beautiful BC. and I'm told that the bits and pieces of
779R should arrive with a clang on my doorstep not later than the end of
the "month of Ireland" (March).

In the meantime I'm heading to Sun 'N' Fun come April and wondered if
there is a Rebel belonging to the group heading that way? In addition to
giving my eye teeth--both of them--for an unoccupied seat I would also
split the cost of the gas, clean bugs off windshields, load bags, act as
your First Officer, help flight plan, hold it straight and level for you
etc. all while soaking in the operation..

As a matter of interest I can connect out of any North American city
served by Air Canada

Will go off frequency for now and return to my "lurk" mode.

Best regards to all.

Brian

Hi, Rob Luce, Rebel kit 733R.

Just a bit of a FYI. In the couple years that I've
been working with Murphy (and this goes double if
you're working the Stephane), I have never received
anything on time. Nope, never. I've always got what
I've ordered, sometimes weeks late, sometimes months
(ok, they did ship out a envelope full of nylon
washers once on time, but that was Robin, he's
generally pretty reliable :-) ).

I ordered my tail kit in September 2002, got it in
December 2002 (a month late). I've ordered
replacement parts 3 times, several weeks late (Robin
sent me the washers for free). I ordered the rest of
the kit (wings, fuse, engine and fwf kit) in October,
still waiting on it, and doesn't sound like it's going
to make it out of the factory any time soon.

To add to it, Stephane seems to be a bit optimistic in
my opinion.

I've always recieved everything I've ever ordered, but
I've learned to ask "when do you want me to call
back?", not "when am I getting my product?".

That's been my experience, your milage may vary,
hopefully. :-)

Rob
