I'll post generally in case others want to join in, but Wayne, I guess my
question is largely to you since I took your suggestion wrt wing wiring
through an AL tube conduit. What do you suggest for pitot tube routing?
(I've closed my first wing -- planning on pitot for left wing, so all options
are still available.)

Depends of course where you are putting the pitot tube. If under the wing
alla cessna..just notch out a hole in your conduit in the appropriate area
and bring the tube out thru it to the pitot unit. If in the last bay or in
the wing tip..just run the tube right thru the conduit to the tip and loop
to the pitot fitting. Pitot's in the last bay of the wing can also be
plumbed by throwing the tube into the little D forward of the front spar.
Feed it all the way thru, into the tip and loop around to the pitot fitting.
This one works for those that realize tooooo late that nothing in the
instructions mentions running a pitot line before closing up the wing.

Thanks for the ideas here. I'll probably go with an outer-most rib bay for
the pitot in order to allow access/maintenance by removing the fiberglass
tip, and also to allow access to the tube (after completion). Running down
the small forward-most D section sounds pretty good here. (Use of the wiring
conduit for the pitot hose routing seemed problematic to me with the thought
of ever needing to replace and reroute the hose, unlikely as that need might
be.)
