Hi all.
I have found a Manufacturer called Beckson Marine that makes an assortment
of deck plates to replace the seadog covers that are sent with the floats.
Go have a look on there web site, look for deck plates, and then you can go and
find a distributor. They come in clear, colors, pry out, screw in, anti skid
surfaces, and the ones I chose a 1/8 turn where the cover goes over the
attaching screws and the hole pattern is the same as what is already there. The
cover tightens on more like a ramp or lug so even if they give a little there
is no thread to break out. I bought mine for 8.00 US ea at C&EJ's online
store. Maybe you can do better!
Good luck Curt N97MR

Hi Wayne,
I was hoping to bring some to Brampton, but work just keeps getting in
the way.
Getting your way when it's warm sounds way more fun anyway! Hope your
not floating and freezing to bad. We went from 59f yesterday am to 18 this am.
Already 9f tonight and crystal clear. Got 1" of rain then a good dusting of
snow on top of the mess! Fortunately my lake is at the beginning of the
river chain and it is dam controlled so we're doing good. Ice fishing was pretty
poor but that is one sport I never could understand!
Keep well Curt N97MR
