Well that sucks Brian. I'd like to thank you for all the help you gave
while I was building my floats and wish you well at whatever you end up
doing. It worries me about how stable a company Murphy is with what seems
to me to be a fairly high turnover of key staff for such a small company.

Hi Brian

Sorry to hear your news, especially at this time of year. Hope something
comes up for you real soon.

I agree with Drew, thankfully I've got nearly all my kit now, but I'd also
be concerned about the state of MAM if I'd only got a small part of the kit.

Thanks for all your help over the last couple of years, and especially the
factory visit and Moose demo for us all in 2003.

Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and many opportunities in the New Year.

(Give us a call if you're ever back over here and passing Junction 23 M1,
I'll get some Tetley's in :-)

Hi Brian,

Sorry to hear you are not with MAM anymore. I would have thought, as long
as you have been with Darryl and MAM, that it would be nearly impossible to
replace there expertise and knowledge you brought to these airplanes and the
company.

MAM has lost a real asset. I hope they know what there doing...for all our
sakes. And that you will find better employment opportunities for 2005.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Sorry to hear your news Brian ! MAM's loss will be a big gain
for some lucky builders, though !!!!

Brian, and another experienced builder from the shop are now available
to help you get your Moose/Rebel.... etc. finished & flying ! They've
already contracted to help a few folks, on a weekly basis, for very
reasonable fees, plus travel expenses. If you really want to get your kit
finished quickly, and very professionally, in your own shop, get in touch with
them NOW, and book a few weeks !! You'll be amazed at the progress,
and you can learn a LOT of tricks !!

Please give us a call, Brian, if you get anywhere near Ontario - be
great to share a glass of good red, or 2 !! ;-) :-)

Brian,

Thanx a bunch for helping me out a couple of times.

Did they eliminate the job position?

Should things get slow you could write a real manual for MAM aircraft. I'
m
almost done with the airframe stuff and would buy one for a Super Rebel.
Just to be sure it was right. I can't tell you where the existing manual
is
going when its completed. Hint: It belongs there.....

My experience picking up a just started Rebel project has been that all the support you might need is
right here on this list. I guess I'm also rather optimistic enf to guess that Murphy is trying to meet its
sales obligations. One could guess that late deliveries and laying Brian off implies at least some
financial strain. Granted ...it is all just speculation. On the other hand, perhaps these deliveries are
not later than normal?

PS: Happy holidays everyone. Brian: Often times getting laid off leads to something lots better. Best
of luck to you.
