Sorry for the delay - been travelling, visiting, eating, & gaining weight !!
Hope you still have a copy of the order I faxed you. If not, I can send it
again ...
In addition to the kit, with the fiberglass tail & wing tips deleted, (since
you'll be using Dave Fife's improved tips), I ordered:
1 pair of skylight doublers (joggled ring pieces to go inside, around the
skylight opening - support the Lexan)
4 EXTRA pieces of ST-28 - these are 'Ontario Mod' parts, to replace
the bottom & angle door frames - there should be <3> pieces in the
standard kit, as well, for the tail (The left-over ST-30's can go under the
baggage floor, and inside the re-made (to .032) ,or doubled, FUS-26's,
and to stiffen other areas.
They may also be supplying extra ST-28 for the firewall brace between the
top engine mounts - part of the factory "Float-Fix Mods" .... in that case,
there are 4 on the standard kit, and you should get the 4 EXTRA ones we
ordered.
Re-making the 2 FUS-26's in .032 is another "Ontario Mod" - you might want
to add a 4 x 4 sheet of .032 6061 aluminum to your order if you have no handy
source - it always comes in handy for doublers ...
Also handy for stiffening some fuse sections is 1 extra wing stringer -
- cut into 6 ft. lengths to reduce shipping costs.
1 EXTRA FUS-30 - another 'Ontario Mod' part - to double the tail wrap
section - trim a bit at front (see photo in archives) - should extend far
enough forward to pick up a few rivets in the triangular side piece.
This is <in addition> to the one supplied with the kit, as it goes over it
as a doubler, to stiffen this area.
1 Float attach fittings kit - 2 bulkheads, 2 tabs, and some rivets - all
stock stuff
If you received any FUS-10 corner wraps, you should ask to exchange them
for FUS-70's (same shape, but thicker - and stronger.)
Strange - I <ORDERED> you a chemical kit, including EP420/430, Tube Seal,
and Metal-Sol ---- did they say why they weren't shipping it ?? You will
need the Tube Seal for inside the tail spar tubes, but you could use plain
acetone instead of the Metal-Sol as a general cleaner/degreaser ....

an air drill to come in so I can get started.
I was also talking to Steve Couper at MAM re missing parts but wanted to
check with you first as to exactly what I needed.
