Moose Wing Construction/ wide spades

I changed from small to large spades after 45 hours, it was well worth it,
much lighter controls. The story I heard was the original design of the SR
had 12" spades as did the Elite.In testing the Elite with large spades it
had an aileron reversal problem so the spades were reduced to 6". At that
time the SR had not been built so the spades were made smaller. Flight
testing the SR showed that it needed a larger spade, thus the upgrade.

It's for both to lighten the stick forces. Optional but according to most
that have done it well worth it. Guys chime in that are flying
with/without
the wider spades!

Wayne is this mod for just the super rebels or is it done on the moose

Looked thru my pictures of the SR wing build and while I have three

shots

of

all 6 spars laid out across the bench.... none show the overlap detail

well
