looking for lycoming mounts (or ears as some call them)

Post by Dale Fultz » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:50 am

After talking with lycoming about the mount for my engine if I change to
the 31 degree mount Part number 70456 instead of the 20 degree mounts
that I now have my mount from MAM will work. So I am now looking for
some mounts if anyone has or knows of any for sale let me know. So I
guess this problem that large at first was not that bad. Lycoming
explained that the mounts I have were used on aircraft where they were
not worried about vibration as much. Thanks for the help, AL got me
going in the right direction. Dale

Try White Industries...they do a lot of salvage.....if you have Trade a
Plane you can find them in there. IF you don't let me know and I'll look up
their details for you.

Cheers,
Wayne
