Does hurt doesn't it George! Consider most of the stuff I have in the yard
that I bought at $1.53cdn to $1.00us and now can't even get $1.16cdn when I
deposit a US dollar! Ie: I'm losing 37 cents Cdn on every us dollar I get in
exchange for any stock I bought when our dollar was low. For example the
freshly overhauled EDO 3500 amphibs that I bought in US funds.... I needed
about $65,000 Cdn to break even on them and now can't even ask $50,000 for
them since the US dollar value hasn't changed (and how all certified
aviation items are priced)! Or the wing and fuselage kit I sold to Jesse for
an agreed US dollar value. I figured all would be well since the dollar
value was about 1.30/1.00 at the time and now that I am depositing Jesse's
money at 1.1625 it kinda hurts to the tune of about $1700cdn lost on
exchange fluctuation alone.
And someone wondered why MAM's pricing was a bit hard to follow right now!
