Moose/SR Elevator bulletin dated Nov-5,04

I just got a clarification on the Moose/SR elevator modification bulletin
that stated "urgent" dated November 5, 2004 from Robin.

There reason we couldn't find any changes in the posted chapter 13, dated
9-13-01, was that there are no changes. It was mistakenly posted on the
Moose/SR page when they really wanted it on the Elite page as an interim fix
or upgrade for the Elite elevator. The Elite page has a bulletin with the
same date but has been updated to show an actual Elite tail instead of the
Moose chapter that was to be an example. They will remove the bulletin from
the Moose/SR page.

I also passed on our suggestions about annotating the revisions better on
all the bulletins. I said we like that they post the entire chapter in PDF
now but they need new dates and some sort of markup within the document that
shows the revised section.

Is that not what I suggested at the time when guys where complaining about
it on Nov 5/6th?? :o)

given right from the start with the 3500 upgrade kits. Guess maybe they've
been finding infield airplanes that this wasn't done to or could it be maybe
that this was intended as a reference for the SB on the ELITE elevator?? and
then my question is why isn't the SR2500 effected the same way??"

I hate the full chapter updates in PDF...at 25.4 baud rate on the end of a
farm line!!...but yes the way they need to do it!

Better shut up and get back in the shop...my wife says lunch time is over
(long ago)!

Thank you Scott !!! I couldn't figure out what was with that URGENT
bulletin. I am so glad that you have taken the time to discuss the bulletin
annotation and markup procedure. It has always been poor. Thanks to you,
maybe they will improve.

Yes, that is exactly what you suggested; "maybe" this is intended for the
elite. Robin clarified so we "know" it was. :)

I agree, if I had a 2500 I would ask MAM what's up with that.

Sorry Scott...just a pissy day around here! :o))

Glad someone was willing to call and get it nailed down instead of just
pissing and moaning on the list about what MAM's not doing for them. Robin's
busting his ass and probably just asked Dean to post it and it ended up in
the wrong place. Not sure what some guys would have done before there was
internet updates!
