If you haven't already Rich..search the archives at the address on the
bottom of these emails as well. Lots of discussions on the Rebel vs the
Elite over the years and basically it's more of a personal preference as to
whether you like the box'y look of the Rebel or the more box'y look of the
Elite!
If you are going Taildragger I don't see the merrits in spending
the extra $$,$$$ to get an Elite. Airplane has a heavier empty weight....
that pretty much (if not totally) negates the 150lb of extra gross weight
that the Elite offers over the Rebel.
