Will be putting the battery and hydraulic pump for the floats super rebel
behind the cabin area in the tail cone. What is the best way to get those
large items through the small floor structure? Thinking about bringing them
along the side at that point. Didn't see anything in the achieves.

tailcone/cabin area

Barny,
I have the hydraulic pump in the tailcone on the copilot side. I used
aluminum tubing and a ton of fittings and a couple of flex lines. Having
done it, next time I would go with ss braid lines 1/4 line for pressure up
and down and 5/16 for return. A continuous run for each line and purchase
them from Montana Float or a local hyd shop but Keith at Montana Float is
very reasonable on this stuff.
For routing the hyd lines they come forward two bulkheads then go to the
left side and run forward to the backup pump just ahead of the flap handle.
The jog to the left was because the fuel pump and the fuel lines ran down
the right side and I didn't want to mix them. The battery is in the tail
cone on the left side. There is a 1-1/4 Teflon conduit (Boeing Surplus many
years ago) that runs the length of main cabin under the floor and most of
the electrical runs through it, radio and intercom is overhead.
The bottom line is, all fuel lines, hyd lines and 12 volt wire are under the
floor with access covers at each fitting location.
