An example of Murphy's bad documentation.

There was a discussion of the Murphy Moose manual on the board a while back
and someone disagreed with me when I said the manual/documentation is
horrible. Here's the classic example.

The have posted an urgent service bulletin dated November 5, 2004.

Not only do they not tell you what is different in the posted chapter 13,
but they keep the date on all the pages as 9/13/01!!!

They don't show on the tech support page that there is an update for the
Moose since October, but if you click on the Moose at the top of the right
hand column is the document. Right under the heading "Service Bulletins".

guess I'm brain dead tonight. No update newer than the cabin roof update and
the cracking of rear spar..... No chapter 13 SB or updates.

Not sure why you're not seeing the update Wayne... might want to clear your
browser cache. I've uploaded the SB to the archive site. Not sure what the
changes are, since I'm at work and can't look at the original.

Not sure why..but Murphy's website seems to be the only one that does this
to me! Even went off line and back on to refresh and nothing..but now it

Hi Brent,
You are correct about the lousy MAM manual. They need to do a lot of work
on it. My son/partner and I built a Kitfox Mod 4 in the early 90's. Their
manual was very well done even in those early days. MAM has a great product
but they need to invest in a tech writer for sure.
