Moose Air Start System

Post by Don Boardman » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:27 am

Hi Murray,

Got my air system from Jim kimball:

http://www.jimkimballenterprises.com/h_ ... moose.html

I added a ball shut off valve just downstream of the tank.
Have not started my engine yet. Hope to in a couple of months.

The above said. What valves for a system are you looking for?
I have seen valves in the MSC catalog.

Regards
Don B.
I am now looking at my start system. I have a M14p air start and wondering if
some one can provide the part numbers for the air valves. Have looked at Danz
and Circle Solenoid valves not a lot of valves to chose from in the 600 psi
plus range

Moose Air Start System

Murray, I looked and can not find a part number on my solenoids. I didn't
buy the Kimball setup but I did buy the individual solenoids from them.

We put all our valves in the floor under the pilot seat and the tank aft of
the baggage compartment. It sure reduces the clutter on the firewall.

Hi Don,

What I am looking for is the part numbers for the Solenoid valves on the
kimball system. My plan is not to order his system as I am planning to
locate
my valves and the bottle differently from his setup. I have a great number
of
valves to choose from just would like to know that setup so that I can
compare.

Thanks Murray

PS Hope to have te engine on in te next few months
