Hi Paul !
Sorry you're getting such a run-around ! I know there are better
insurance companies out there - Ralph has one that only wants 5 hr.
of dual in a Rebel ... maybe he'll chime in here with a name !
Hoping to see him up here for some flying soon ....
If at all possible, I always encourage folks to "insure it to the ears -
for the first year, anyway !" --- it's bad enough to suffer the physical
loss of the airplane (and possible injury) without also having to bear
the financial loss ..... and not having that worry tends to help with
making better in-flight safety decisions - - just MHO ....
Not surprised Avemco were losers - we drove them out of Canada !
Had personal experience with non-payment of claims - eventually coughed
up after more than a year !! Wonder if they even want to be in the insuran
ce
business, the way they treat people !!!
Maybe we need an area where we can post the companies that DO
provide coverage, and terms & rates - sure would be a benefit for you
in the USA. It's MUCH easier up here in the Great White North -
several to choose from ! :-)
How about it ??? Anybody know of a good company for Rebel
insurance to help Paul out ???? (He's in Florida - if that helps.)
.......bobp
