Thanks for the offer Jim ! We might try it - it would be great to have
fly-in meetings !!! Maybe time for a change of format anyway ...
The Chapter has been having monthly meetings in the hangar ever
since we got the new furnace, so there's no problem having meetings in
the hangar. It's not a cozy or handy, but t would work - they've even
added a projection screen & a large TV that we might be able to use.
It certainly takes a lot to get it warm in there in winter though -
and the furnace runs on quarters - about 15 minutes for $1.00 ...
but we only meet every 2nd month, so it's not that bad ...
We'll see how things shake out - the chapter has a line on a steel
building as a replacement - if they get lots of donations from the
members. I plan to give something for the Rebel builders.
More details next month, as things resolve - might have to move the
meeting to October anyway, as i might still be in BC getting my amphibs
installed .... Not likely to go until after the Wings Over Canada Fishing
Weekend, unfortunately (would have loved to do that one !).
