broken seat backs

I just saw this. Can you describe the two seat configurations in more
detail so I can determine which we have?

Ralph, the old seats have the diagonal brace that welds into the back at
about 6" up from the pivot point. The newer high back seats weld in at about
12". If you have a 6" model add another brace before covering if you haven't
already. If you have the12' brace you should be fine.
