Tail Wheel Spring ball joint
Posted: Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:20 am
I note my tail wheel spring ball joint is covered in rust after sitting
for a year indoors. I hadn't coated with primer as I though it'd then
stick to the supports and also not allow insertion of the spring. I'm
considering getting one machined out of stainless steel. Anyone gone
this route or have advise?
BTW anyone complaining about the cool wet summer this year (BC
excluded) it's +45C over here. I'm getting lots of built time now at
least. :-)
Thanks
