Has anyone in Florida or in the SouthEast US had a full SR/Moose quickbuild
kit shipped to them? How much was the shipping? I have a potential buyer
that wants to know approx shipping cost before looking any further into my
plane..
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,
I'm in South Louisiana. Not exactly Florida, but coming from British
Columbia, ya can't hardly tell the difference. Shipping cost $2700.00 to
get my FB Moose down here. The real kicker, however, seems to be the
loading/securing process. There were two kits in the trailer when mine
arrived. Takes quite a while to fasten the thing into the truck. If just
one kit ships out, I imagine the freight will be more. Randy Bowers
arranged the shipping of mine. Maybe he'll chime in with more details.

I have shipped a number of Moose kits for builders all around the US. TX, UT,
ME, VT, NY, LS, PA, etc. Freight costs are escalating rapidly at the present
time with fuel and an overall shortage of trucks and drivers. The key is
hooking up with other shipments. That was what i was doing to help
builders...arranging trucks. If he can be arranged with one or two other shipments the costs
are reduced substatially. BC to FL would run approx 4500 USF. If one can ship
two or three kits there will obviously be additional miles and charges for
additional stopovers but the overall cost for each builder will be much less. Hope
this helps give you an idea of cost.
