HI Ted,

Congratulations on your purchase. Don't feel bad about not building your
Moose. For my partner and myself building is simply a necessity to end up
with the final product. If I had a magic wand I would have waved it over the
pile of parts the first day and puff, instant Moose!
Purchase, puff, instant Moose. Good for you.

Randy and I are apron six weeks or so away from first flight.
If folks are interested (let me know), I'll report my detailed flight
experiences as I get checked out by the owner in a couple of weeks.
Landings should be interesting!
We certainly would be interested in detailed flight experiences. Thanks
I'm told the CG is at the wing leading edge and
that one is wise to put some ballast in the baggage area if flying alone
to keep things well within limits.
Ted, was this to state that the empty weight CG was at the leading edge?
I have seen two sets of numbers from Murphy for flying CG range.
9" to 20.4" and 9.5" to 21.38" aft of the leading wing's edge.

Was the 250 lbs. in the baggage area for demonstrating load carrying
ability?
Do you know how much and where ballast was needed for solo flight?

Once again, congratulations and welcome.

Regards,
Don Boardman
