Nimpo Lake Fly-in - July 17, 2004
Posted: Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:13 am
Just a reminder for those thinking of doing the famous Nimpo Lake
Fly-in this year. It is on the weekend following Arlington, and
is about 4 hours flying north of Vancouver. The route includes
flying up the coast and then inland between a couple of the
highest mountains in BC (yes, bigger than the Rockies). It will
be my first time and looking forward to a good adventure. There
are a few of us from the Vancouver area planning to fly together,
and I believe Bruce G. from Spokane is coming. It's OK for
wheels, too, although, floats is the main deal. Here's a link to
give you a taste for the area, and the announcement from the BCFA
who are hosting the event.
