Keeps you in shape for the next medical Bob!! :o)

Also allows you to know that everything is okay.... as you know the stroke
count and pressure spikes to go with each gear locking into place. An
electric pump will immediately dump that entire reservior into the lake....
when something pops apart...where'as you'd know right away that something is
wrong using the hand pump.

Also, Bob, you may find that it only takes 15 or 16 pumps if you
pump a little slower .... I recall taking about 100 pumps on
short final into Pearson International a few years ago, when I didn't
do a downwind check (because they steered us around and there WAS no
downwind !) !! ;-) :-)

Add my vote to the "no electric pumps" side ! :-)

You could try ordering Montana's hydraulic retract system. Talk to keith
@montanafloat.com It uses a Parker pump marked "642368" - not sure if that's
the model number or the serial number. But it runs at rather higher pressure
than the Murphy system, I believ.. I'm pretty sure these Murphy plastic
lines wouldn't be suitable.

Bob,

Make sure you retighten those plastic hydraulic lines after a few weeks, they
tend to loosen up or stretch, I know, as I had one pop off.

Hi Jean!!

What I believe you are trying to say is "trim pump" for the "trim" tabs on a
boat. Yes I have seen a nice little compact trim unit used to power the
cylinders on an amphib set up... on full lotus floats.

Cheers,
Wayne
