Just starting 3500 stab mods and need to clarify a couple of things.
(even after reading the archives)
The Seafins as per MAMs demo appear to start aft of the stab main spar
on main rib.
Is this the correct position?
I would like to add some blind nuts for a future seafin on main stab rib
How many per seafin and size?
Do they need to be flush or is there enough clearance for round head bolts?
ST403 doubler, there was discussion of increasing these to the full
length of 9'10"
Is this necessary?
Outer stab rib corner wrap.
Again is this a one off mod or should it be included?
I thought maybe doing as Mike D did on the inside but extending forward
to also act as a rib doubler for the seafin, thoughts?

Seafins - Stab Mods
Seafins - Stab Mods
Warren,
They do start aft of the spar, I riveted mine since it was done after the
fact, nut plates are a better solution. There is just enough clearance for
the fins so you will need flush fasteners. I would see it MAM has new
heavy end rib if not I would add a doubler, I used three rows of 1/8 rivets
on 1.5 pitch (no doubler).
