Commercially built aircraft with more corrosive 2000 series aluminum
alloys benefit from spraying in something every couple of years. I
prefer the non-hardening Corrosion-X or ACF-50. It wicks into crevices
and neutralizes existing corrosion. There is discussion in the archives.
I made sure I had access to every internal compartment. A 3/16" hole and
a plug in floor spaces for example. Personally I'd also prime the
interior if planning to play in seawater.
