instrument vacuum hoses

Hi
Has anybody used automotive fuel hose or similar rubber hose to plumb
vacuum gyros? Short pieces of rubber hose and push on connections might
be easier to use and possibly more reliable than nylo-seal or poly-flo...

I used 'automotive' type neoprene hose on the last plane that I built. It first flew in May of '92 and has been flying since. The original hose is still on the plane, although it's on the 3rd vacuum pump.
