Hi Charlie,

Not that it probably matters as each person will most likely custom fit the
stick height but there was a minor mistake in the numbers I gave last night
from memory after a long day in the shop. See paragraph from original post
below with corrections IN CAPITALS.

The total height of the stick tube came out to be 18 7/8" ( CO-PILOT'S SIDE
**SEE BELOW) and the distance from the top of the tube to the 3/16 mounting
hole in the bottom was 17 5/8"

CORRECTION DISTANCE IS 17 3/4"

leaving 1 1/4" of tube below the mounting hole.
( ** ACTUALLY ON THE CO-PILOT SIDE THE THERE WAS ONLY ROOM FOR 1 1/8". ON
THE THE PILOTS SIDE, TOTAL LENGHT WAS 19")

The 3/16 hole in the stick base on the control column tube is 1 1/4
(CO-PILOT 1 1/8")down from the top where the stick is inserted. All
dimensions for the holes are to the centers.

I KNOW PROBABLY SPLITTING HAIRS, JUST THOUGHT IF I WAS GIVING NUMBERS THEY
MIGHT AS WELL BE ACCURATE.

Don,

I got a Y bar from Irish Wayne that I'm installing with yokes which are
18.5" from yoke to yoke .
I ordered some raw stock 4130 and aluminum rods in order to widen.
This system is out of a 100-180 and uses a neat setup of pushrods
instead of a bicycle chain.

Please confirm:
What is the lateral spacing from pilot to co-pilot stick? Can you
confirm it's 20.5"?
If left at 18.5" would one be a bit cock eyed? (assuming you weren't
already)!
I also plan to move the panel bends slightly outboard to give a larger
flat area to allow for a glass panel.
What is the lateral c/l spacing of the seats, is it also 20.5"?
