Miskokway Lake Fly-in cancellation

Yeah It looks like the ski season in southern ontario is over to. I had aUnfortunately, the ice conditions at Miskokway and all through the
northern area are terrible with snow and slush now melting into a real
mess.
blast flying my plane on skis this year landing at freinds farms for coffee
etc. 8hrs. on the clock since feb. 1st. I think installing a heater is
going to be on the to-do list now. Sunday I was out flying for breakfast
and on the way home landed in the field behind the Canadian Tire in Exeter
to do some shopping. I learned a few things, it takes strong bungees to
keep the skis from flopping down, if one ski flops there is no adverse yaw,
you can get it to tip up again by slowing right down with the nose way up,
P force on the ground is very evident left turns take about twice as much
room as right turns. Hopefully I'll get to a fly-in up north next year.
