Hi Jean,

I don't have the REBEL builder's manual in front of me at this moment, but as
I recall, the manual described making/riveting angles from ST-40(?) material
at each intersection of the stabilizer ribs to the front/rear spar.

Stabilisator ribs....

Hello everybody!

I am working on my stab ( right one). I make ribs as per mam instruction. Making those tab with 1/8" radius with a wood block do not give precision parts like those preformed on die...

I was asking something else to mam, and the person who answer me told me that at mam when they assembly parts like that now, they just use little angle like on the opposite side of the rib instead of making a tab. Faster and easier! Do you thing it is as strong, stonger or it is a short cut on quality and strongness?

They surely have much more than me the knowlege for those change, but at the same time, we all know that some parts of this aircraft have to be beefed up and they don't recognise it! So... I just want to be sure! Please a.s.a.p., I doing those part this afternoon!

Jean,

I checked my manual, and my manual on CD. You are right. Bend the rear flange
and angle on the front.

However, I can't see why using angles front and rear would not be sufficient,
but then I'm no aeronautical engineer. If MAM Tech said it is OK, I'd be
comfortable with that.
