Elite Fuselage Length, Width?

Hi Elite builders

We are getting close enough to building the fuselage that we need to think
about the space it will take and have a couple of questions for those who are
that far in the process.

1) How long is the fuselage, firewall to end of the tail cone, not including
rudder & elevator?

2) How wide is the final assembly? This is about how wide a door will be
needed when it comes time to move to where the wings will be attached etc.

Thanks

Width, same as Rebel. 44" plus the stand offs for strut attach and wing
attach. I'd say you need a 48" opening to get her through.

Length? Jeffrey...ya out there??

Elite Fuselage Length, Width?

Hi, Wayne and all,

Back from a long weekend of work in El Paso. For sure you need 48 inches,
considering the wing attach points. Might need to sand the door frame a
little at that width.

Elite Fuselage Length, Width?

Hi Dave

Wayne is spot on with the width - 44" (or we've both made the same mistake
:-) )
Length from bottom of firewall to the tail is about 205" - I'm not finished
yet so approx.
Door opening size is 42" wide, 32" high at front, and 26.5" at rear.

Hope this helps
