didn't get my cowling buttoned back up until 15:15. Was probably Bruce
Tinney you saw playing around in his white/red Northstar and I also saw an
all yellow Cub or Taylorcraft playing around the area.
I had a boo at the snowmobile trail, that angle crosses Midland Harbour on
it's way towards Honey Harbour, and it is packed out pretty wide. I would
suspect that if we get some more sunshine and minimal snow it might just be
hard enough to land/take off from on wheels, but a big gamble if you get off
it by bump or chance!! :o( You would also have to walk in from out there to
our BBQ on shore at the ""dent" area of the North shoreline (that is very
evident from the air if you fly the shore line East/West). If I get a chance
to fly again before Saturday I will land beside the machine packed trail and
check it out to see what it's like. Will update as to what's happening
through the week as to the weather picture (Friday night for sure) and then
early Saturday morning as to go/no go.
DREW...we going to see you over?? ANYONE else???
