Next Rebel Builders Meeting - Sunday Jan. 11th

It's that time again !!! This coming SUNDAY !!!

The next Rebel Builders of Ontario Meeting is SUNDAY, Jan. 11th,
at 1:00 pm. at the RAA-TR Clubhouse at the far north end of Brampton Airport.
(North-West of Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (CNC3)

Sending this out close to the meeting, in the hope that more of you
will remember and come out on Sunday !! :-) We've missed you !

Please put on your thinking caps & bring your 'subjects'...
It has been suggested that we pick one key topic for each meeting,
far enough ahead that builders can round up articles, photos, and
pieces to show - soooooo .... we need YOUR suggestions for TOPICS
for the next meeting(s).

Since we've run through ALL of the previous TOPICS, and
several builders are wrestling with cowlings, please bring along any
photos, drawings, or suggestions on:
"How to attach/construct engine cowlings"
- Rebels, or Mooses, or whatever - it all helps !!

There's a good chance we'll see Angus McKenzie again -
he's supposed to be bringing John Goris, one of the latest Moose builders !
The McKenzie STOL kits are now available for the Super Rebel/Moose
(about $2,700) - get your orders in ...
(The McKenzie STOL kit for the Rebel/Elite is still only $1,800 USD. )
Maybe Wayne O'Shea will be able to bring down some goodies for us to buy
- it's been a while ! (How about a wheel-ski for Show 'n Tell ??)
There will be some new Super Rebel/Moose builders, too !!!

We REALLY hope the weather will be good, so we can see a
bunch of "Fly-In" Rebels/Elites/Meeses/whatevers !! It's not
looking too promising at the moment, but we can hope ! Don't take
chances, though ... and if you drive, you can join us for pizza
& beer afterward !! ;-)

Keep working on that Rebel, 'cause Rebel Ramble 2004 is
coming ! We're looking for suggestions, and a 2-parter starting
with a "Ramble to the North" has been suggested - we might dip a toe
in that OTHER ocean at Ontario's only salt water port ! Followed
by a "Ramble South" to visit that "Aileron Gap" ??? .... ;-^) :-)

We're looking for a volunteer for a Builder Visit in February -
anybody up for it ???

We'll also have some new guests & Rebel builders, and another draw
for Rebel T-Shirts, or Rebel Coffee Mugs, Rebel hats etc. ....
Should be an interesting meeting !

hi bob sorry i missed meeting but we got dumped on this week 8 in of
snow last night so the airport was closed and we were all trying to dig
ourselves out

hope it went well for you i got the floats painted yesterday they
look great

i hope they work as well and don`t leak too much!
