Curt,

I would like to use a "D" shaped handle on the inside of my doors, like the
ones I saw in your Rebel, but I am having trouble finding any. Can you, or
any one else on the list, help?

Hi Lonnie,
Sorry I cannot help you with a premade set, as we made our own. Bent the
handle out of 1/4" steel rod, and soldered 2 small bearings to that. The
cross bar that we attached them to was 3/8" rod drilled and tapped for # 6 screws.
The bearings allow the handle to swing from against the door in the closed
position to hanging down in the open position. Some day I'll get digital enough
to send pictures. (Maybe for christmas?) Curt

I found two good D handles at Home Depot - evidently used as door opening
handles. After making a back plate and riviting to the forward door post on my
SR they work great

-> Lonnie try these two sites for the latches: www.stealthaerospace.com
www.allegiscorp.com These latches contain the entre mechanism for securing
the door.
