Motor Mount Replacement?

OK, since we're scratching for some meaningful dialogue, I do
have a question that I have been wanting to ask for some time?

When do motor mounts need to be replaced? How many hours? I have
the cheaper conical mount ones. How do you know when they are
worn out? Do you get more movement or vibration? Can they break
or come apart?

Walter

Hi Walter
I think you'll notice the engine visibly sagging at the nose bowl and if
you see cracks in the rubber it's probably time. I was pointed to a neat
site yesterday. You might find something about motor mounts here.

A trick I learned from Rotax tech is to coat your engine mounts with
dielectric grease and they will last longer.
