Hi Scott,
Your questions where some Randy and I had not too long ago. I am posting my
answers to the list in case others can benefit..
My air bottle is behind the baggage compartment and my solenoids are in the
floor under pilot seat.
Sounds like one way to go. Speaking of pilots side. We put the fuel
forward plumbing under the pilots side so the fuel sump in the floor can be
easily reached from the pilots side.
Did you guys end up using 303 hose for fuel and oil systems??
We used Aeroquip Racing Hose for the oil and fuel lines. Nice hose and
fittings are a straight forward installation with no mandrels to mess with.

"The finest quality stainless braided hose available, AQP racing hose is
compatible with petroleum and synthetic lubricants, hydrocarbon fuels and
liquid engine coolants. It operates at higher temperatures for longer
periods. Light and flexible, it is easy to work with and its stainless steel
cover will ensure long lasting durability and resists corrosion and
abrasion.. The construction consists of AQP elastomer tube, partial
stainless steel wire inner braid and a full stainless steel outer braid
reinforcement. Continuous operating temperature from - 55 deg. F to + 300
deg. F with a maximum operating pressure of 1000 psi."

For air and brake and hydraulic systems we are using Aeroquip Teflon Hose
which I've seen listed at both 2500 and 3000 psi. Same source as above.

All fuselage lines in the door posts and below the floor are Aluminum.
Are you putting in an oil filter?
YES, The outlet of the oil pump goes through the oil filter and then on
its CLEAN way to the oil cooler and then back to the oil tank. The filter
head we selected can be found at:

t.cgi
At a cost of $60.66. The part number we used was:
# 086-09-0304 This was for a Flow right to left -12AN fittings
13/16 thread Chevy filter. It will fit a standard aircraft Champion filter
I think it is a CH48109 but don't hold me too it its getting late. It's the
long one that takes the male Chevy 13/16 thread.

One way to go,
Don B.
