Seems to me there is no place for it to float , how can it move fore and aft
even without being tight? If the forward attach is tight it seems to me the
only direction the rear attach would try to go is toward the center
(compressing the rear carry through) whether it is tight or "floating"
(unless I make the holes oversize I can not see it sliding along the bolt).
I don't understand why I wouldn't want spacers in the rear attach bracket to
keep them parallel so I can tighten them without deforming the bracket. The
3500 upgrade changed the rear spar fuselage fittings from aluminum to steel
ones, appears this did nothing due to the carry through being the weak link.
I think the rear carry through needs to be beefed up. But as I said, I
don't get it, so maybe I don't get it...

BUT, you Moose guys remember that the front spar attach fitting is to be
tight in the carrythrough and spaced so that the Rear attach fitting is
centered and >FLOATING< inside the fuselage fittings. NOT HELD TIGHT!
Bolt/nut is to be tightened only to be snug, allowing the fuselage fittings
to stay parrallel to each other. This leaves a small float gap on either
side of the wing fitting and allows the loads to be transfered to the front
spar fus carrythrough, instead of the rear fuselage attach carrythrough.

findHi Rallph
When putting the wings on the Elite the idea is to set the for and aft
location based on the rear spar fitting as you do not want any bending or
preload of the fittings. It is best to put the tail up and to level the
airplane as the weight of the wing will cause it to slide back. You may
sparthat the wings have different front and rear gaps inside the cage main
differenceattach points don't worry about it the airplane will not know the
theand it will fly just fine. Make your spacers up so they fit snug between
thefront spar and the cage as you do not want to bend the attach points on
