Next Rebel Builders Meeting - Sunday Nov. 9th

It's that time again !!! This coming SUNDAY !!!
The next Rebel Builders of Ontario Meeting is SUNDAY, Nov. 9th,
at 1:00 pm. at the RAA-TR Clubhouse at the far north end of Brampton Airport.
(North-West of Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (CNC3)
Sending this out a little closer to the meeting, in the hope
that more of you will remember and come out next Sunday !! :-)

Please put on your thinking caps & bring your 'subjects'...
It has been suggested that we pick one key topic for each meeting,
far enough ahead that builders can round up articles, photos, and
pieces to show - soooooo .... we need YOUR suggestions for TOPICS
for the next meeting(s).
Since we've run through ALL of the previous TOPICS, this
meeting will be about "How we spent our summer vacation" ! ;-) :-) :-)
We hope to have some raw video & stills from Rebel Ramble '03 -
Parts I and II - to BOTH coasts ! Will try to wrestle in the TV,
unless somebody has access to a video projector that would work
from the camcorder ... Anyone who flew on the Rambles is welcome
to come along & bring photos too !! If the crowd is too big,
we can always move to the hangar !!! ;-)
We HOPE that Dave Fife, (with his <lighted> Hoerner wing tips ??)
will be driving or FLYING in with Curt Martin ! Hope to see them !
I think Dave is still looking for Elite builders to help with tip fitting
for those kits - first one gets a deal ! ;-) He is already
working on a set for the Super/Moose - we might see those.
If the weather's good, we might see Angus McKenzie again.
The McKenzie STOL kits are now available for the Super Rebel/Moose
(about $2,700) - get your orders in ...
(The McKenzie STOL kit for the Rebel/Elite is still only $1,800 USD. )
Maybe Wayne O'Shea will be able to bring down some goodies for us to buy
- it's been a while ! (How about a wheel-ski for Show 'n Tell ??)
There will be some new Super Rebel/Moose builders, too !!!
We REALLY hope the weather will be good, so we can see a
bunch of "Fly-In" Rebels/Elites/Meeses/whatevers !! It's not
looking too promising at the moment, but we can hope ! Don't take
chances, though ... and if you drive, you can join us for pizza
& beer afterward !! ;-)
Keep working on that Rebel, 'cause NEXT years' Ramble is
coming ! We're looking for suggestions, and a 2-parter starting
with a "Ramble to the North" has been suggested - we might dip a toe
in that OTHER ocean at Ontario's only salt water port ! Followed
by a "Ramble South" to visit that "Aileron Gap" ??? .... ;-^) :-)
We're looking for a volunteer for a Builder Visit in February -
anybody up for it ???
We'll also have some new guests & Rebel builders, and another draw
for Rebel T-Shirts, or Rebel Coffee Mugs, Rebel hats etc. ....
Should be an interesting meeting !
