Yak 12 on floats

I just uploaded an interesting photo of a Yak 12 on floats in Russia. It is
on the float section. The aircraft was overhauled and the instillation was
done by some friends of mine in Moscow. They replaced the 280 hp AI-14 with
a 360 hp M-14P and mounted an MT propeller. The interesting thing, besides
the "beaver" look alike is the way they handled the float attach. If you
notice the Pitot tube, it is the same type I am using on my SR. On the table
is the Champion oil filter kit I sent over that they are installing. We are
now working on putting dual control Z-37 Cmelak on 3730 Whip amphibs. It
will have a useful load of about 2300 lbs. I should have pix in the spring.
