Alternate engines -formerly Larry and Others

Aww but "Larry and others" for a subject at least makes it easy to
delete O/T posts ;) Makes it tough to search the archives but if its
O/T anyway...
AFAIK Marcotte is alive and well. I've heard that rumour before when he
was taking a vacation or sick and hard to reach. Definately not a 9-5
kind of guy. He upgraded my flywheel within the last couple of months.
Ray Fiset sure answers e-mails quickly when he gets them but I get the
impression that he doesn't always receive them.
Speaking of miscommunications, I talked to Warp Drive this summer and
they said that since some (not all) 0-320's were having problems they
didn't recomend their prop on the 0-320. They did recommend it for
smaller Lyc's and pretty much everything else that had more cylinders,
was smaller, or used a psru. Apparently they have some high time 0-320
customers still going strong with no problems as well but they aren't
recommending it on the 0-320. Interestingly the blades that I've heard
referred to as "high power blades" are just the normal blades that have
not been cut back on a taper apparently.
The Canadian distributor for SUB4 was at the alternate engine seminar
last year.
