Optional Rebel Brake Geometry Modification Kit

Post by Terry Dazey » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:50 pm

Hello Rebel Group:

My Rebel will have the firewall in the stock position (NOT moved aft). I
have ordered and received the Brake Pedal Mod Option Kit (4 each BRK-220
aluminum angles and some rivets).

I have never seen a Rebel with this modification, so my question is for
those who are taxi testing and/or flying.

Is this is a good modification to make? Does the new geometry help make for
better braking and turning the aircraft?

Has anyone upgraded from stock plans brake mounting location to the optional
kit for a comparison?

Thanks in advance.
