LS1 Motor Mount

I was up in Idaho last weekend and got to see Chuck's LS1 running on its
test mount - Really sweet!! He would be willing to put together an LS1
engine mount for the SR- he needs the bolt attach pattern and thrust line
offsets- I think he tack welds the frame and sends it to California to have
it welded up on a vibratory table - something about a German system of
relieving the stresses in the weld as the puddle crystallizes.

Britt - SR194

Good one - It all fits except Harleys are hard to come by in Germany and the
BMWs mignt not deliver the necessary Vibes -
There does appear to be some science behind it -

I'm conjuring up an image of a fellow, sitting on an idling Harley, holding
a TIG torch, as the mount jiggles around. Also imagining all sorts of names
for the process... Gudenluse Weldin Haus...

Sorry, I gotta stop that..
