V-8,but..

Hi all, I would love to have some real know-how input on how difficult
it would be to run a V-8 ( 260 to 300 HP) upside down?
I was told by this fellow Jones at SNF that it is no big deal for a
person familiar with doing V-8 conversions. He himself would not do one
for me, liability etc. since it is going into an airplane. The aircooled
Argus V-8 original installation in a Fieseler Storch has become totally
unreliable and cannot be overhauled it seems. To replace it with such an
upside-down automotive V-8 would be the best solution and very
importantly, one could retain the original cowl. Anybody? Thank you,
Geert Frank

I have instructions on how to do it in a book a bought from Skip Jones a
while back. He does V8 engine conversions for aircraft use. I can scan in
the relevant pages and email them to you. Give me a few days.
