SR Door Post pulley

Question for those who have installed the SR door post pulley and
inspection cover. The manual has you rivet a gusset plate (doubler) to the
inside post channels and then making an inspection cover out of the inside
skin in this area. Photos I have of MAM's SR show the inspection cover
right over this riveted gusset plate and this doesn't look like it will
allow any real access to the pulley without drilling out this gusset. Has
anyone put their inspection cover just below this pulley & gusset to allow
better visibility/access to the pulley? Any other suggestions would be
great to hear about. Thanks.

I just finished that step and used the entire top inside skin as the
inspection cover. I think that it takes about 34 nutplates per side. Once
you unscrew the skin, the pulley and spacers can be dropped out the bottom
by removing the pulley's centre bolt without removing the inside skin's
doubler(gusset plate).

Thanks Phil, I'll do the same on mine. This weekend I looked further
ahead in the manual and see that MAM describes the same approach -- I
missed that.
