Hi Rebel Builders,
Have a question. I am working on the cabin floor area and
find that my cabin floor fus 39 panel does not look like the
manual. It does not have the flanges on the edges, has
anyone else seen this - has the design changed. What did
others do in this area.

Hi There

Dan is correct, the floor ahead of the main cage which is a trapezoid shape,
and also very heavy has 2 flanges on the pilot and copilot sides. All
others
do not.

Hi There

As I recall, none of the inner or outer cabin floor pieces have flanges of
any
sort. I am quite sure about this. Also, there are very few holes drilled
in
these pieces as well. Have to 'free form' quite a bit.

For your info, many of the builders have made the inner floor of stronger
material considering all of the wear and tear etc. in the cabin.

Mike:

My FUS-39 which is just in front of bulkhead A on the bottom of fuselage
does have flanges on the outer edges. The piece in front of FUS-39 does not
have flanges on the sides.
