Amphibs - Depth?

Hi Dave!! I just went out to the hanger and measured to the stain line on
Howard's floats and looks like you will want at least 14" of water to clear
the keel wear strip at the tail end of the step. If a rocky bottom, but the
wheels down!

Guys

With all this talk about floats somebody has to know the answer to this
one,
can anyone tell us what depth we need for the amphib floats? I'm talking
about
at the dock and at a specified weight.

Tks

Dave

Wayne

I'll be sure to be objective on the float selection...if that's
possible...If
I CAN be objective, that is. You do trust me, don't you?

Thanks Wayne, more info to put in the "where do we go from here" analysis.

Thought the wheels might be a good idea for depth sounding ;^)
