Rudder cables and springs

Post by Rickhm at home » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:56 pm

In checking the manual (our favorite subject) and my invoice it indicates
that I should use some springs as part of the rudder cable install. The
only springs that I think I have are those that are used to go from the
rudder to the tail wheel. I have 6 of these. Am I correct to assume that
2 go from rudder to tail wheel, 2 are up by the rudder peddles as outlined
in the manual and 2 are used somewhere else or are spares? The springs are
zinc plated and about 4" long. There is a picture on the web site of the
rudder/cable attachment. At the bottom of the picture you can see the
springs I am thinking of.

Thoughts?
