Would like to know why they would be different though?

Mike, the note below is in the Moose Fast build section. I'm not exactly
sure how tight "nipped up" is for the 3500 rear fitting, but it looks like
the 2500 can be "tight".

"Some confusion has come about as to how the front spar attach works on all
our high wings.
On the Maverick, Rebel/Elite and 2500, the rear spar fittings are bolted
tight, and this sets the exact position of
the wing front spar fittings in the cage top carry through. Delrin spacers
are then made up to insert front and
back, so this assembly can be bolted tight.
HOWEVER- on the 3500, the wing rear spar attach brackets FLOAT inside the
fuselage rear spar attach
brackets, and are only nipped up with the AN6 bolt. With the wing rear spar
attach fittings centered as close as
possible inside the fuselage fittings, the front spar attach fittings will
find their position, and the space fore and aft
is filled with ALUMINUM spacers, part number FL-265. 6 are required per
aircraft. If 3500 builders do not have
these, please contact shipping."

Well, I slid my wing up to the fuselage for the first time and got a
shock. With the front wing fitting hard against the front of the
fuselage fitting there was no way the rear fitting was going to make it.
It looked like the wing fittings were farther apart than the fuselage
fittings. &%#$ how did I screw that up? Taking a look at the problem
it looked like if I moved the front doubler from the inside of the
square tube to the outside like the moose builders have to do it would
give me enough room and it did. But the front wing fitting is hard
against the front of the fuselage fitting to get the rear fitting
pinned. I can't remember the differences between the Moose and Super
Rebel about one fitting "floating" and the other bolted down hard with
spacers or whatever. If I put a spacer on the back of the front wing
fitting to fill the gap with the front wing fitting hard against the
front fuselage fitting and the rear fitting bolted down (won't need any
spacers, it's a good fit) is this acceptable? Any opinions? Thanks in
advance guys.

Fitting the wing SR/Moose

Found during load analysis for the 3500 that leaving the rear attach bolt
"floating" transmitted less stress to the fuselage, from the wings, at the
rear attach (read.... it was easier to beef up the front attach and let it
take more of the load!!) If you have a straight 2500 without the extra
beefing at the front attach make sure you tighten both bolts as originally
spec'd out!
