ATTENTION! - Release of REVISED MANDATORY Rotax Service Bull

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:49 pm

To ALL of the 912/914 drivers on the list! Rotax has extended the serial
number range for inspecting crank cases for cracks, to now cover 912ULS's as
well. I think they just keep moving the serials higher as cracks are found
in the field and then just move the number higher to match. Don't think any
case changes have been made to beef these areas up, but I have been known to
be wrong!

Anyone flying a Rotax should subscribe for auto updates from Rotax. There
have been MANY service bulletins and mandatory directives in the last 3
years or so!! :o((
