oops, forgot something

Hi, I noticed the people asking about the seat installation on the site.
Although the recent ones pertain to SR's, from the wealthy people in
other words, here is a notion maybe of some value anyway: the thing that
I had the most trouble with when building my Rebel way back when was
placement of those damn seats. The manual was no help whatsoever. When I
was all done, I realized the way it should have been done. Assemble the
seats onto their respective track FIRST, not permanently of course, but
just put the seats on and now place the combination onto the floor the
desired distance back from wherever it is easy to measure from and mark
the position through a couple of the pre-drilled holes onto the floor
and now you know exactly where to install the tracks. Make sure you mark
the tracks, so there is no confusion once you take them off the seats
and voila. This of any help? Geert Frank
