Dale, what do you keep trying to send to the list. Twice you've come up
blank? If it's a picture you can't do so through the mail list as it will be
stripped. You have to post pics to the archives at the address below.
Cheers,
Wayne

Rebel N295RT
Hi Dale !
That looks a lot better !! :-)
Hope you can write to the list now. I've forwarded this,
in the hope that someone out there might have used a Prince prop
and can comment !
Don't know anyone with a Prince, but from what you said,
the plain wood one isn't much more expensive than the Sensenich
wood prop, and has more going for it. I like your idea of trying
the plain one first, and coating it later, if it works OK -
that way you're not risking much, and it just might be a lot better !
Not surprised to hear the Vortex Generators didn't help
with the Rebel - that certainly was <my> experience with them !
They not only didn't help the climb, but they ruined the
lateral stability !!! I think it's <possible> that <some> VG's
<might> help <IF> they were designed and tested and positioned
correctly exactly for the Rebel airfoil - just haven't seen that.
The Fife Hoerner wing tips and the McKenzie STOL kit are
both tested and proven ways to improve performance on the Rebel,
so those would be possible things to try. I joined the crowd
and installed the Fife wing tips last summer, and have a McKenzie
STOL kit ready to install as soon as the weather gets a bit better !!

What do you think of the Prince versun Sensenich prop?
The past owner of 295RT said the VC's didn"t help at all.

Sorry for the delay - we were in Toronto all day for a
directors meeting (I'm on several boards ...).
I've cleaned up & forwarded your message. Sorry to report
that the problem <IS> on your end !! Are you by chance running
WinDoze XP ??? By default, Micro$haft have their email programs
set up to use HTML format (that's all the gobbledegook junk you
see below !). More and more services are choosing to strip it
out, if people don't turn it off - it just wastes bandwidth and
makes messages hard to read ! (Guess this makes more money for
MSN !! ;-^) :-) )
Anyway, because DCSOL strips out HTML, and your email
program doesn't also include TEXT (which really surprises me -
never seen THAT configuration !) - ALL of your message is removed,
and it comes up BLANK !!
The solution (and everybody you email will thank you !),
is to find the setting in the email program that says -
send HTML or TEXT, and choose TEXT ONLY .... That will solve the
problem ! (Might be under 'Properties' - I don't do WinDoze,
prefer Linux !)
Good luck !
